Family Yoga
with Erin Schifferli
Cost: $30
Calling all families! This Family Yoga class is a playful way to slow down and re-connect with your clan.
Everyone is welcome to attend and each family pays one price (up to 6 participants per family). Mom, Dad, children of all ages, and grandparents are welcome. This class will explore a winter / holiday theme including fun poses including stretching out tall like a snow covered mountain, sledding on your belly like a penguin, and flowing like a snow angel. No experience is needed! This class is all about coming together to breathe, move our bodies, release tension, giggle, and reset.
From the first pause on a mat in the year 2000, Erin sensed the power that yoga has to offer individuals, communities, and the world. These practices brought healing for her shoulder, a settling of her mind, and a way to slow down and connect — which led to a newfound sense of overall wellbeing. Learning methods of breathing and movement alongside the profoundness of “just being,” fostered greater awareness and attentiveness in her daily life. She was both inspired and curious! With immense enthusiasm for sharing this discovery of conscious connection, Erin pursued her 200 hour, 300 hour, prenatal yoga certification, Yoga as Medicine Yoga Therapy, vipassana meditation, and Mindfulness Meditation trainings and programs.
She is most grateful for these experiences and enjoys sharing the benefits of yoga, meditation, and mindfulness with all. As a registered dietitian nutritionist, she enjoys inviting the stress reduction aspects of yoga into her nutrition counseling sessions and courses. Her group classes, private sessions, and workshops often include playful nature references and an encouragement to attune and listen. Erin is known for reminding us that we are all one, and that each moment of every day, is an opportunity to be present, breathe, and be, with whatever arises.
