This 7-week series is a slow, intentional practice designed to help you build awareness, release tension, and feel more at home in your body.
Using the chakra system as a simple framework, we’ll explore how different areas of the body relate to stress, stability, expression, and emotional holding. Each week focuses on one chakra — not as something to “fix,” but as a way to notice patterns, soften bracing, and support your nervous system through steady, mindful practice.Movement will be slow and accessible, with clear guidance around breath and sensation.
You’ll be invited to pay attention to what you feel — physically and internally — and to meet those sensations with curiosity rather than effort.Practices may include:
Gentle, mindful movement
Breathwork to support regulation
Simple visualization and sounding to deepen awareness
This series is less about energy concepts and more about presence — learning how to listen to your body, create space where things feel stuck, and practice being here without rushing or performing.An optional eighth week is included at the end of the series as a make-up for any classes you may miss.

Karen Sapia is known for encouraging a focus on slow, mindful movement
to create a moving meditation. Her classes will explore moving energy
through the body in a series of fluid movements connected to breath
and awareness. Adaptations will be offered for all levels.
