Testimonials for Art of Connection

“The fusion of a coffee date, asana practice, philosophy lecture, and talk therapy. It was a simple, joyful, and profound experience.” ~ Paige

“It is clear that Erin has put much planning, time, and love into offering something beyond just a one hour yoga class. She creates a safe, intimate space where participants can come together, with the teacher, to formulate a practice just for their small-group.”  ~ Jane

“My body movements have improved significantly since week one.  Gaining an understanding of the importance of breathing and truly focusing on daily intentional time for breathing practice has brought me to a place where I feel very in-tune with my body.  I am six months out of back surgery and I am very happy with how my body is reacting to this series.  Thank you!!!!” ~ Alice

“This series has been very helpful and informative in building my practice. I have been going to yoga classes for many years, but learning more about the foundations and being exposed to different breathing techniques has helped me gain more in my practice. Creating a home practice has helped me start a purposeful morning routine that has helped me get a good handle throughout the day when work and life stress begin. I look forward to continuing to learn more and build more in my home practice.” ~ Libby

Erin Schifferli

From the first pause on a mat in the year 2000, Erin sensed the power that yoga has to offer individuals, communities, and the world. These practices brought healing for her shoulder, a settling of her mind, and a way to slow down and connect — which led to a newfound sense of overall wellbeing.

Learning methods of breathing and movement alongside the profoundness of “just being,” fostered greater awareness and attentiveness in her daily life. She was both inspired and curious! With immense enthusiasm for sharing this discovery of conscious connection, Erin pursued her 200 hour, 300 hour, prenatal yoga certification, Yoga as Medicine Yoga Therapy, vipassana meditation, and Mindfulness Meditation trainings and programs. She is most grateful for these experiences and enjoys sharing the benefits of yoga, meditation, and mindfulness with all.

As a registered dietitian nutritionist, she enjoys inviting the stress reduction aspects of yoga into her nutrition counseling sessions and courses. Her group classes, private sessions, and workshops often include playful nature references and an encouragement to attune and listen. Erin is known for reminding us that we are all one, and that each moment of every day, is an opportunity to be present, breathe, and be, with whatever arises.
