Sweet Pea & Me (Parent - Baby Yoga)

TEACHER: ERIN SCHIFFERLI
COST: $80/SERIES OR $25/DROP-IN
FRIDAYS NOV 15 - DEC 13 (NO CLASS NOV 29TH)

Join Erin Schifferli, parent of 4, and birth doula, for this opportunity to pause, breathe, move, and connect with your baby in a warm welcoming space. This class will offer poses to support Mom and / or Dad postpartum with special attention given to the chest, neck, shoulders, lower back, hips, and abdominals. Stretch with your baby, and learn some gentle massaging techniques to soothe your little bundle, too. All levels welcome, no yoga experience necessary. Class will be 45 min of yoga with baby and 15 minutes of community connection time.

From the first pause on a mat in the year 2000, Erin sensed the power that yoga has to offer individuals, communities, and the world. These practices brought healing for her shoulder, a settling of her mind, and a way to slow down and connect — which led to a newfound sense of overall wellbeing. Learning methods of breathing and movement alongside the profoundness of “just being,” fostered greater awareness and attentiveness in her daily life. She was both inspired and curious! With immense enthusiasm for sharing this discovery of conscious connection, Erin pursued her 200 hour, 300 hour, prenatal yoga certification, Yoga as Medicine Yoga Therapy, vipassana meditation, and Mindfulness Meditation trainings and programs.

She is most grateful for these experiences and enjoys sharing the benefits of yoga, meditation, and mindfulness with all. As a registered dietitian nutritionist, she enjoys inviting the stress reduction aspects of yoga into her nutrition counseling sessions and courses. Her group classes, private sessions, and workshops often include playful nature references and an encouragement to attune and listen. Erin is known for reminding us that we are all one, and that each moment of every day, is an opportunity to be present, breathe, and be, with whatever arises.
