Self-care can take many forms, from exercise, to making conscious decisions about the foods we eat, to having a yoga or contemplative practice. And yet we often overlook a powerful way to improve our health – our own ability to influence and balance our energies. As many energy traditions teach, good health begins in the energy field, where imbalances show up long before they manifest in the physical body. Working at the level of the energy field, we can clear imbalances and restore physical and emotional harmony.
This class will teach Donna Eden’s Daily Energy Routine, a simple set of exercises that are a potent way to address these imbalances. Empowering us to participate in our own healing and transformation, the Daily Energy Routine helps to balance our energies, strengthen our immune systems, and better manage the stress we face in our daily lives.
John Coan is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, a Diplomate of Comprehensive Energy Psychology (DCEP), and a Clinical Eden Energy Medicine practitioner (EEM-CLP). For more than 25 years he has been certified in psychosynthesis, a transpersonal approach to counseling. He offers several energy-oriented methods and self-help techniques within the field of Complementary and Alternative Medicine, including Emotional Freedom Techniques, BioGeometry, Thought Field Therapy, Eden Energy Medicine, and vibrational and mental dowsing.
In addition to a daily energy self-care routine, he loves contra dancing, the coast of Maine, working in his garden, and taking an active role in living a conscious, purposeful life. He is committed to meeting the challenges of life with compassion and curiosity, and he encourages and invites his clients to do the same.
