No one turned away for lack of funds

What does it feel like to turn inward and practice self-care? How can we extend the richness of self-care to benefit our communities? In this 2-part yoga and voice workshop, we will examine and practice personal wellness and investigate how self-care can expand in support of those around us. Through gentle postures, grounding vocal exercises, and creative meditations, we will explore how the peace we gain on the mat can be a calling to create a more equitable, supportive society for all.

A portion of proceeds will go to the Amherst Survival Center, a local community center that offers resources to help people meet their basic needs. They currently provide free meals and free groceries. They continue to provide showers, laundry, and lockers for people experiencing homelessness. Their resource center also provides fuel assistance and Salvation Army vouchers, as well as advice about additional services that community members need. These services are provided with COVID protocols in mind, are made possible by a large team of volunteers, and are available to all.

In an effort to make this community care workshop accessible to as many in our community as possible, please see the tier pricing options and know that no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Pay from the heart and choose the payment option that feels appropriate for you.
