Yoga can benefit children in many ways. Besides increasing flexibility and strength, it can help develop body awareness, build concentration and focus, increase confidence, and foster a positive body image. It can teach children a great alternative to the constant attachment to electronics that is common today. There is a growing body of research that has shown that yoga and mindfulness can improve memory, self-esteem, behavior, and can even reduce anxiety in children!
Ages 4-8 are welcome! Parents are welcome to join and support their kiddo, watch from the back, or wait in the lobby area.
