Love Your Bones: 6-Week Series

Love Your Bones: A 6-Week Series

with Susan Moore

Stronger bones. Steadier balance. Greater resiliency.

As we age, the combination of poor bone quality, loss of strength, and diminished balance can create a perfect storm — increasing the risk of fracture. This six-week yoga series will empower you with knowledge and tools to support bone health, improve balance, regain muscle strength, and develop overall resiliency.

This is for the person who says:

“I want to stay strong and steady as I age, but I need guidance.”
This series will give you the tools — and the confidence — to do just that.

Each week, you’ll learn safe, practical approaches to yoga for bone health in a supportive small-group setting. Susan, a yoga therapist specializing in osteoporosis and osteopenia, will guide you through strengthening postures, breathwork, and balance practices.

Susan Moore, MSW, Registered Craniosacral Therapist, IAYT Certified Yoga Therapist Susan spent her girlhood in the woods of Minnesota exploring the countryside on the back of a horse. This connection to nature and animals taught her to trust the truth and wisdom of the body. Trained as a Physical therapist Assistant, Susan worked in orthopedic outpatient settings for a decade. This time taught her much about the Western model of health and healing as she also witnessed the ways that physical pain, injuries and dysfunctions include mind and emotions. She went on to earn credentials in yoga, massage and craniosacral therapy before earning the certification of IAYT Yoga Therapist and a Master’s in clinical social work in 2024. Her unique blend of experience allows her to meet clients and students where they are most comfortable. Susan works with individuals and groups, addressing a range of conditions that include musculoskeletal imbalances, chronic pain, autoimmune conditions, headaches, TMJ and pelvic floor dysfunction. Healthy aging is a passion, as Susan understands how we must accept and adapt to our ever-changing circumstances. She has a special interest in working with trauma, having experienced firsthand it’s deep impact on the nervous system and how physical health, vitality, and sense of self are compromised. Susan offers private sessions in craniosacral and yoga therapy in Easthampton and Longmeadow MA. She is an instructor at The Massage School and is a Yoga Teacher Trainer at Nirvana Yoga, where she also leads community classes. You can contact Susan on her website, www.somahealing.net.
