According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, about 1 in 3 adults in the United States reported not getting enough rest or sleep every day, and an estimated 50 to 70 million Americans have chronic, or ongoing, sleep disorders.
Proper sleep is an integral component of physical and mental health, and it is essential to develop good sleep hygiene and habits to support healthy sleep.
In this workshop, we will explore how the tools of Yoga and Ayurveda (the sister science to Yoga) support healthy, restorative, and consistent sleep.
Through a holistic, multidimensional approach spanning ancient wisdom techniques and modern psychology and research, you will:
Learn and practice āsana (postures), prāṇāyāma (breath practices), and meditation to support improved sleep
Use the science of habit change to make meaningful, impactful, small (yet significant), realistic shifts through creating a routine that works for you
(Re)commit to your overall health and well-being through an improved relationship with sleep
All Levels Welcome.
