TEACHERS: ERIN SCHIFFERLI, ADAM SCHIFFERLI & ILANA BEIGEL
COST: $45
IN PERSON ONLY

Ready to melt tension and release stress? Join us as we transition into spring and embrace the growing light. This class offers time and space to settle and ground with a warming and restorative yoga practice guided by Adam Schifferli, with assistance from Ilana Beigel.

During the restorative postures Adam and Ilana will offer reiki to participants in the manner that most resonates for them (hands on or hand above). Reiki is an ancient energy practice that offers deep restoration for the whole body and being. The combination of the breathing, warming postures, and reiki infused restorative poses helps bring homeostasis and balance. No experience necessary, all level of practitioners are welcome. From the first pause on a mat in the year 2000, Erin sensed the power that yoga has to offer individuals, communities, and the world. These practices brought healing for her shoulder, a settling of her mind, and a way to slow down and connect — which led to a newfound sense of overall wellbeing. Learning methods of breathing and movement alongside the profoundness of “just being,” fostered greater awareness and attentiveness in her daily life. She was both inspired and curious! With immense enthusiasm for sharing this discovery of conscious connection, Erin pursued her 200 hour, 300 hour, prenatal yoga certification, Yoga as Medicine Yoga Therapy, vipassana meditation, and Mindfulness Meditation trainings and programs.

Adam is best known for offering accessible classes intended to support individual growth and expression. He emphasizes traditional yogic traditions and mindfulness with an easy going approach that is both accessible and supportive. While each class is unique, every class ends with a guided final relaxation (savasana) and meditation to help students ground in to the many benefits of their personal practice.

Ilana is a passionate, inspired and inspiring holistic practitioner and healer who is dedicated to supporting and seeing you as the multidimensional being you are. After studying Psychology in college in the 1990s, she went on to become a Speech Therapist in the Western medical system and quickly found that conventional approaches - while helpful to a degree - lack the depth and breadth needed for meaningful and sustainable healing and transformation. It was a natural fit to merge her formal education with the years of intrigue, exploration and personal experiences in the Eastern contemplative and healing traditions, and she became a certified yoga instructor, meditation teacher, and Reiki Level 2 practitioner in the Usui lineage.
