Feeling depleted or overwhelmed is so common these days. We all know that slowing down and resting will help, but did you also know that you can change the energy level in your body by simply breathing differently?
The practice of Pranayama is an incredible tool for learning how to manage your energy wisely. Pranayama means "to restrain or increase the flow of aliveness" - it is a practice where we use the breath to directly impact our prana, or energy.
In this workshop we'll go over the foundations of a pranayama practice as well as the importance of self-awareness and self-care when it comes to managing your own energy.
Topics will include:
Defining Energy, Awareness and the connection between the two
How to Breath from the Diaphragm
The importance of self-care
Activities to refill your well
Pranayama exercises, includes Three-Part Breath and Alternate Nostril Breathing
You'll leave with the tools and techniques you need to begin exploring these practices in your own life in order to improve your overall well-being and feel more alive.
