Please join us in welcoming Max Alaghband to the Serenity Yoga Teaching Community!
Max will lead you through a 75 minute flow of meditation, pranayama, and yoga postures, led by the breath. Emphasis is placed on alignment and muscle engagement to support a safe, strengthening, and restorative experience of mindful movement and self inquiry.
Open to students of all levels, even those who have never practiced yoga before!
About Max:
Max was first introduced to yoga at age 12, and has been practicing yoga and meditation since his late teens. Driven by a desire to deepen and share the mind-body benefits of his yoga practice, which has played a central role in his recovery from a longterm health condition, Max completed his Kripalu Vinyasa RYT-200 at Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in 2018 with Coby Kozlowski and Yoganand Michael Carrol. Returning from a year in Taiwan studying Mandarin Chinese, practicing Taichi, living in a Chan (Zen) Buddhist monastery, and teaching Kripalu yoga, Max is excited to share the empowering tools he’s received with the Serenity Yoga community!
