A combination of sustained poses as well as poses flowing in a mindful progression with emphasis on core strength, flexibility and balance. This class is based on physical postures, deep breathing and mindfulness.

Anthony is a Kripalu 200 hour certified yoga instructor and is currently working toward his 300 hour certification as well. The Kripalu style of yoga is a compassionate practice that guides the practitioner inward. Kripalu yoga incorporates meditation, pranayama (breathing), and asana (postures) into class.
Knowing his life's work is to help others, he has chosen careers that fulfilled said purpose. He has worked as a camp counselor, a mayoral aide, and as a full-time firefighter/EMT.
At a time when he was unhealthy, unhappy, and feeling depressed, yoga gave him the tools to create health, peace, and strength to follow his truth. His life has been a path leading toward realizing yoga, in its sincerest meaning: yoke, bind or union.
In Anthony's classes, this practice starts on the mat, guiding students to unite the mind, body, and breath. He encourages students to take skills developed and lessons learned in class and apply them in their daily lives. He brings his heart and peaceful presence to every class, often in the form of poems he has written. These are shared and woven into class themes such as faith, gratitude, and union. In some classes, students are encouraged to pick their own theme.
